President & Qualified Manager
Dan Chilson

During his highly successful 20 years in Law Enforcement, Dan grew frustrated by the political and bureaucratic constraints affecting his ability to conduct thorough criminal investigations.  A true advocate for victims and their families, Dan knew he wanted to provide answers.  This is  why he founded Roxbury Investigations.

Dan has led, and also been a member of, investigative teams assigned extremely challenging, complex and high profile criminal investigations.  He has worked along side and partnered with investigators from Local, County and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies.  Dan's investigations have spanned all across the United States.

Dan's investigative experience includes crimes such as homicide, major assaults, rape and other sex crimes, elder abuse and crimes committed against and by juveniles.  He has also investigated non-criminal deaths and has had extensive training and experience in the investigation of traffic collisions as well as commercial vehicle enforcement.  Through it all, Dan has earned a reputation as being a tenacious investigator.

In addition to his investigative experience, Dan has completed hundreds of hours of certified training from the State of California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).

Dan is a current member of the California Homicide Investigators Association (CHIA) as well a member of the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI).
